Compare all seven PF-310 configurations
Every configuration includes the PF-310 hoist. Hoist Only includes mounting hardware and a safety prop arm, but no hydraulic power unit or remote. Standard and Premium kits each offer three power-unit choices. Premium adds battery-charging equipment; it does not increase the hoist's lifting rating.

What is included in the PF-310 Hoist Only package?
PF-310-HOC is for builders supplying their own compatible hydraulic power system. It includes:
- PF-310 scissor hoist assembly with a 3.5-inch hydraulic cylinder and 10-inch stroke
- All hoist mounting hardware
- Safety prop arm
No hydraulic power unit, pendant remote, battery, electrical accessories or charging package is included. Check your existing power unit's pressure, flow, reservoir capacity and control arrangement against the hoist's installation requirements before pairing it with the PF-310.
How to order Hoist Only: Select Hoist Only under Kit Package and Primary under Power Unit Selection. Primary is the required selection for this package; it does not add a power unit. If you previously selected KTI or 24V, switch the power-unit selection back to Primary.
What is included in the PF-310 Standard Kit?
The Standard Kit supplies the hoist, hydraulic power system, mounting components and accessories for your dump-bed conversion. All three Standard configurations include:
- PF-310 scissor hoist assembly with a 3.5-inch cylinder and 10-inch stroke
- Upper mounting brackets and collars
- Standard-duty rear hinges (SD hinges)
- Safety prop arm, safety cups and safety bracket
- Hydraulic hoses, fittings and connectors
- Bridon load-control valve
- Battery, battery tray and battery cables
- Selected hydraulic power unit and matching pendant remote
- Safety stickers and installation manual
- Hat
These are the hoist-system components for your build. The truck or trailer, dump body and installation work are separate.
PF-310-K: Standard Kit with Primary Mover 12V
Includes every Standard Kit component listed above, with our Primary Mover 12V double-acting hydraulic power unit, 3 HP motor and two-button power-up/power-down remote. This is the base Standard Kit configuration.
PF-310-K-U: Standard Kit with KTI 12V
Includes the same Standard Kit components, with the Primary Mover power unit and remote replaced by a KTI 12V power unit and three-button remote. The third button adds a gravity-down option alongside powered raising and lowering. The current upcharge is $80 over the base Standard Kit.
PF-310-K-U-2: Standard Kit with Primary Mover 24V
Includes the Standard Kit components with a Primary Mover 24V double-acting hydraulic power unit for a compatible 24V battery system. The current upcharge is $100 over the base Standard Kit. This is an electrical-system compatibility option, not a speed or lifting-capacity upgrade.

Every Premium Kit includes the Standard Kit components listed above, with your selected hydraulic power unit, plus a RoaDCharger battery-charging system matched to the configuration.

RoaDCharger replenishes the hoist battery while you drive. Actual charging current depends on the charging source, wiring, battery condition and installation. The 33-watt solar panel provides a separate maintenance-charging function on the 12V packages.

Which hydraulic power unit should I choose?
Choose Primary Mover 12V for powered raising and lowering
The Primary selection in Standard and Premium packages is our 12V double-acting power unit with a 3 HP motor. We have invested extensive development and design work in this unit. Its two-button remote gives you straightforward power-up and power-down operation for a compatible 12V build.
Choose KTI 12V when you want a gravity-down option
The KTI configuration adds a three-button control arrangement: power up, power down and gravity down. Choose it when you prefer KTI equipment or want the option to lower the bed by gravity. The PF-310 hoist and the package's mounting hardware remain the same.
Choose Primary Mover 24V to match a 24V battery system
This option is useful for trucks and trailers already operating on a 24V battery system. It allows the hoist's power unit to use the matching voltage rather than requiring a separate 12V supply.
24V does not automatically raise or lower the bed faster. At comparable power output, a 24V system draws less current than a 12V system. Actual cycle speed depends on hydraulic flow, load and installation. Choose 24V for electrical compatibility, not an assumed performance increase.
Will the PF-310 fit my truck or trailer?
The PF-310 is our smallest, lowest-profile scissor hoist. It is a popular starting point for pickup truck conversions and smaller dump trailers, especially when there is limited room between the frame and dump body.
It is intended for suitable 8–10 ft dump bodies, but body length alone does not establish fit or lifting capacity. Check mounting clearance, closed height, hoist placement, rear-hinge location, dump-body weight and load distribution.
The 3-ton class is not a guarantee of 6,000 lb of payload in every installation. Account for the weight of the moving dump body as well as the material it carries, and use the capacity chart for your installation geometry.

When should I consider the PF-416?
If your build has the mounting space and needs additional lifting capacity, consider the PF-416 scissor hoist. Its 5.5-inch cylinder is larger than the PF-310's 3.5-inch cylinder, and the PF-416 is our 6-ton-class option for suitable 10–14 ft bodies.
The PF-310 remains a strong choice when its compact profile and rated capacity fit the job. Before stepping up, compare both models' dimensions and capacity charts; extra space alone does not establish compatibility.
Why does hydraulic pressure matter?
A scissor hoist needs a correctly matched power unit, especially when beginning a lift from the fully lowered position. A pump that cannot provide the specified working pressure under load can leave an otherwise suitable hoist struggling to start the dump cycle.
For the PF-310, matching the power unit to the specified 3,200 PSI lifting requirements matters alongside correct mounting geometry, battery condition and load placement. A pressure rating alone does not establish that a replacement pump is compatible; check its flow, reservoir and control requirements as well.

The safety prop arm supports an unloaded raised body during approved service procedures. Never work beneath a raised body supported only by the hydraulic system.
What warranty comes with the PF-310?
The PF-310 hoist carries a 36-month warranty. The Primary Mover hydraulic power unit carries a one-year warranty, and the KTI hydraulic power unit carries a one-year warranty. The hoist's 36-month coverage does not apply to every component in a Standard or Premium Kit.
