The PF-310 is a great fit for mini trucks, smaller dump bodies, and light-duty dump trailers. It can lift up to ~4.5 tons depending on your bed length, hinge location/overhang, dump angle goals, and the weight of the dump body itself. Some fabrication is required, and we’re happy to help you confirm fitment and expected performance before you buy.

Kit Options (HOC, K, KU, KU2, PK)

- KU2 (24VDC Power Unit Option) – For customers with 24V electrical systems or those looking to reduce amp draw. 24VDC does not lift twice as fast—it’s primarily for 24V compatibility and lower current draw.
- PK Kits (Premium + RoaDCharger) – These tiers include our RoaDCharger system and a 33-watt solar panel to help keep batteries topped off and reduce charging headaches.

How do I know if the PF-310 will lift what I need?
The PF-310 can work great for many light-duty builds, but dump performance depends heavily on bed weight and desired dump angle. A heavier steel bed, high dump angle goals, or added structure (headache rack, tall sides, etc.) can overwhelm a smaller hoist. If you have room under the bed and want more margin, stepping up to a larger model may be the better fit.
How do I know which hoist fits my bed?

Can I use a PTO instead of an electric power unit?
Yes. Many customers run PF hoists with PTO-driven systems. Verify your PTO’s maximum PSI and GPM at working pressure so you know what to expect for lifting power and cycle time.
Should I choose 12V or 24V?
Choose 24VDC if your truck runs a 24V electrical system or if you’re looking to reduce amp draw. A 24VDC system does not lift twice as fast—it simply operates more efficiently at higher voltage. For most dump trailers and light/medium-duty builds, 12VDC is the standard.
